Welcome to my portfolio! The works that you will find below are a combination of personal and design work that were specifically curated to meet academic requirements.
This is a technical illustration advertising a microwave. All artwork was completed in Adobe Illustrator except for the background and mockup which were curated in Adobe Photoshop. The major challenge regarding this project was top accurately design the household microwave including all angles, edges, buttons and shadows to give it a realistic and definitive look.
Concept Book Cover: Arrow
This is a concept book cover for an adaptation of the hit television series Arrow. This post-graduate project was fully created and mocked up in Adobe Photoshop. Here, the major challenge was to effectively produce a dark and ominous look that properly reflects the "Arrowverse" and DC's general tone. Additionally on the back of the book, making the text visibile and properly arranged held a great importance.
TIME Magazine Concept
This is a concept for a Time Magazine article that was created using Adobe InDesign. The cover had to be directly related to the article in focus which was also properly arranged in InDesign in order to match the TIME brand. Prior to commencing this task, I spent a lot of time researching articles from prior issues of TIME Magazine in order to fully grasp and comprehend their design style and how text and images are generally displayed. This of course included drop caps and pull quotes.
Mustang Menace Poster
This is a movie poster for an imaginative movie that was completely designed using Adobe Photoshop. Being one of my very first design projects the entire task as a whole was a challenge. This poster consists of many images that have been cut and edited in Photoshop to create something totally unique.
Cracker Box Design
To meet academic requirements, students were tasked to redesign a Tea, Cracker, or Pasta box completely from scratch using Adobe Illustrator. Specifically this included the box design, logo, and creating a new name along with a flavour for the cracker. My ultimate goal with this project was to design a box that was both unique and that would stand out to the human eye when sittin on a shelf in a grocery store. Using distinctive colours, symbols, and patterns, this requirement was met in full.
For Sad Eyes Only
This is a poster that was fully created in Adobe Illustrator of a cartoon heart named Sad Eyes that I imagined.
This multipage Seed Catalogue was designed in Adobe InDesign. Specifically it was designed both for distribution and digital interaction in order for people to order and learn about the different seeds that Miracle Seeds offers. Specifically for this catalogue, students were given copy and a specific number of page that could not be gone over. Arranging the images and laying out the text to fit that page count while creating an intuitive and comprehendible design was the biggest challenge.
Album Artwork (Front)
For a school project, student's were tasked to create an album cover for an artist of their choice. This is an imaginative album artwork for a made-up artist. All art except for the mopckup was designed in Adobe Illustrator. Being the imaginitive artist's first album, I wanted it to stand out by making it revolve around his life which are reflected in the small vector art revolving around the Earth.
Level Up Fitness Manual
This is printed and interactive fitness manual for an imaginative gym named Lvel Up Fitness. Along with establishing the brand and creating a new logo, I was also asked to re-arrange and layoout the provided copy to fit the new look and feel of the manual. This 60+ page fitness manual was fully completed in Adobe InDesign. Making this manual narrow and short like a general manual made this project even tougher as we were given 30+ pages of copy which also incluided several tables to include in the manual.
Typography Event Poster
Fully curated in Adobe InDesign, this is an unofficial poster for a typography event held at Humber College. This was also one of my very first design projects and the biggest challenge was to make everything fit in one page while simultaneously creating a design that catches the human eye, is easily readable and that incorporates related design.
Simplicity meets sophistication in this menu designed for the imaginitive restaurant Blue Fin On The Beach. All layuouts were designed and configured in Adobe InDesign except for the logo which was executed in Adobe Illustrator. Blue Fin is a high-end restaurant and I wanted that to be reflected in the design by creating a clean yet serif-imposing menu that showcases that higher price line but also reflects the ocean aesthetic.
RG Sports Apparel App
Created and protyped (functionality-wise) in Adobe XD, RG Sports Apparel is a mobile app for a soccer store where customers can browse and shop the latest styles and gear. The biggest challenge here and with any app in general was to create a responsive and user friendly app that provides a good esperience and provides advanced but friendly capabilities.
